<Urza> Your most welcome.
<Urza> So Ann, go ahead and tell us about your current projects and stuff. =)
<accrispin> Okay, currently I'm working on a fantasy trilogy for Avon, set in a universe I created.

<accrispin> And I'm doing a couple of short projects for the Star Trek program. A comic book, and a short story.
<accrispin> Also working on a book proposal for Pocket Books, a third novel about Zar, my protagonist from my first two ST books.
<accrispin> Actually, I guess it will wind up being a trilogy...
<accrispin> ga
<Urza> Sounds like you've got a lot of work going on.
<accrispin> Oh, yes, no rest for the wicked, as they say.
<Urza> =)
<Urza> Ok. I'll begin accepting questions now.
<Urza> So if you have questions for Ann please message them to me.
<Urza>
<Chrono> Miss Crispin, what is your personal favorite from all the projects that you've worked on?
<accrispin> Well, I'm very fond of my StarBridge books. Feedback on that series has been very heartwarming. Most of the
<accrispin> books are out of print, now, but I keep getting fan letters about them.
<accrispin> ga
<Urza>
<Flim> Will you be writing any books for the Del Ray arc?
<accrispin> I have no idea. Del Rey has not contacted my agent. The Del Rey editor and I had a little chat at Dragoncon, and she asked me whether I'd
<accrispin> consider doing some more SW books, and I replied that I would. But with books, you never know until you have the contract in front of you.
<accrispin> ga
<Urza>
<elbede> will there be more StarBridge? I have them all and love them
<accrispin> I'm afraid that the seven books that are out now are it for the moment. I have had an inquiry about buying a new "Silent" book from Mischa Merlin Press. If that deal goes
<accrispin> through, they'll be publishing omnibus StarBridge books, each containing two of the original series book, plus one new book. We'll see if it works out.
<accrispin> ga
<Urza> Here's a mail in question from Plo_Koon: Do you think it would be a good idea for George Lucas to reveal Han Solo's true parentage in the prequels?
*** ghoti-limpdaddy] (bad@...) has joined #moseisley
<accrispin> Well, Plo, I think it would be very interesting, but I doubt it will happen. The time frame isn't quite right. But you never know. Or...only George Lucas knows, to be accurate.

*** Einstein (~ngates@kronos--.mdm.mkt.execpc.com) has joined #moseisley
<accrispin> Um...well, yes, I guess if I had any model for Bria, it was the woman in La Femme Nikita.

<accrispin> Well, I'd be very interested in doing the backstory for the two most famous SW heroines...Leia and/or Amidala.

<accrispin> I can actually stay a bit past : if there are still questions. It's re-runs, remember.
<Urza> Lucky us. =)
<accrispin> Well, in the beginning of the book I acknowledged the help of Pete, one of the fellows from West End Games. He explained the

<accrispin> ga
<Urza>
<Chrono> What are your favorite books/series and favorite authors, etc.?
<accrispin> Well, I'm very fond of George RR Martin's stuff, Ursula K. LeGuin, Robin Hobb/Megan Lindholm, Barbara Hambly's fantasy,

*** amidala (Jaja@tpk-ppp-a-kmc.networksplus.net) has joined #moseisley
<accrispin> Well, Kevin was the person who first encouraged me to write in the Star Wars universe, by asking me to write a short story for the Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina.
